INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Rachelle is passionate about supporting children and families with experience in the foster care system and helping children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and oppositional defiance disorder. She works from a client-centred approach by building a strong rapport with clients, learning their perspective through exploring thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, assisting in understanding how their thought patterns and processes can lead to negative self-talk and emotional dysregulation. Rachelle incorporates aspects of play therapy, as well as painting, collage, drawing, music, storytelling, sewing, and movement into her practice.
Rachelle is a Registered Social Worker (RSW), having completed a Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree at the University of Manitoba. She is also certified in Indigenized Expressive Arts Therapy from the Winnipeg Holistic Expressive Arts Therapy Institute.
