Shannon is a Registered Social Worker (RSW), having completed a Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree at the University of Manitoba. She is also a Focus Oriented Therapist (FOT) certified through the International Focusing Institute in New York.

Shannon believes empowering and supporting a person with understanding, care, and humor can give them the ability to reach their potential. Recognizing that each person is unique and has their own lessons to teach the world is important to how she works with her clients. Her therapeutic process is based on the use of person-centred psychotherapy with a strength-based, trauma-informed, and empowerment driven approach.

Areas of Specialty: children, youth, and families with multi-agency involvement, neurodevelopmental disabilities, age of majority transitioning, grief and loss, caregiver-child relational challenges
